Laila Textiles: Napkin Set Natural Dye Workshop

Join us at in good spirits to discover the art of natural bundle dyeing. In this 3 hour workshop led by natural dyer Liz Mortensen, you'll learn the basics of natural dye and how to bundle dye with dried plants.

Workshop will cover:

• Basics of natural dyeing including fabric prep, mordants, and modifiers

• Overview of natural dye plants and how to extract plant dye

• How to naturally bundle dye fabric with dried plants

• Each student will create and leave with a set of 2 (12x12 inch) cocktail size 100% cotton napkins as well as a PDF with information covered at workshop
